How To Get Started with VESTA

New VESTA Students

  • Apply for Admission (application)
    • Option 1: Take courses for personal interest or professional development. Transcripts not required. Enrollment limited to 8 hours per semester to a total of 24 hours. Self-pay (financial aid not available for this category). Postbaccalaureate students can enroll in up to a full course load with no restrictions on total hours. Proof of bachelor’s degree required.
    • Option 2: Seek a certificate or associate degree in Enology or Viticulture. Request official transcripts from all previous institutions. Apply for financial aid as needed.

Current/Returning VESTA Students

  • Contact Brenda Smith, VESTA advisor, for individualized guidance, 417-255-7736.

    Or go to the Missouri State University-West Plains website (https://wp.missouristate.edu)
    Click “Log in” at the top right of the screen.
    Click My Grizzly Den (https://mygrizzlyden.missouristate.edu) from the drop-down menu.
    Login with your MSU-WP account (abc123s) and your current password
    *If you have forgotten your login information contact MSU-WP Help Desk (417-255-7995).

    Select the Student tab.
    Locate the Registration Card (If you do not see the Registration card, search for it in the Find card area. Once you find it, click the bookmark icon in the upper right to add it to your dashboard).
    Click on the Registration Dashboard link.
    Then click on Register for Classes if you already know which ones you need.
    Next login with your MSU-WP account (abc123s and current password).
    Select the current term from the drop-down menu and click on Register or Drop a Course.
    At the bottom of the screen enter the CRN for the class if you have it or click on Class Search to find open section of the courses you need.
    Once the desired class is chosen, click on View Sections and click on Register at the bottom of the screen.
