Programs

The VESTA program is designed and implemented as a technical certificate and two-year degree program to train students for work in the grape and wine industry throughout Mid America.  The VESTA partnership delivers online advanced viticulture and enology courses that enable students to learn anytime, anywhere.  Practical laboratory and field experiences in vineyards and wineries are a key component of VESTA.

The goal of VESTA is to establish self-sustaining educational programs through an alliance of two-year colleges, universities, vineyards/wineries and state and federal agencies which will provide a foundation of the science, mathematics and technology skills needed for a productive career in the grape and wine industry.  Upon completion of an Associate of Applied Science degree, articulation agreements with four-year universities will enable students the ability to transfer credits to a Bachelor of Applied Science degree.
