Background:
I earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Botany and a Master of Science degree in Horticulture from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. I have worked in many aspects of fruit research including grape cultivars evaluations, grape soil modification and irrigation, grape spacing trials and winter bud hardiness at the State Fruit Experiment Station and presently am involved in outreach education.
