This course is designed to introduce teachers to the science of viticulture and to current practices for establishing a commercial vineyard. Topics covered will include site selection, site preparation, varietal selection, equipment, first season establishment, vine growth development and training, trellis systems, weed control, and vine disease control.
Registration begins at 8:00 am and the session will begin at 8:30 am.
