Interested vineyards and wineries wishing to serve as VESTA Field
Practicum Sites must meet the following minimum requirements.
VINEYARDS - minimum 3 years of commercial experience. There
is no minimum size of vineyard required. Depending upon the
age of the vineyard, some vineyards might only be eligible to
serve as a field practicum for certain classes.
WINERIES - minimum 5 years of commercial experience
minimum 5,000 gallons of production
Barrel program desired but not required.
Oak program required (chips, staves, etc.)
